Sky tv after subscription

At the moment we are paying for sky tv upto June this year, after the 12 month contract has ended we are planning on cancelling this but what i want to know is do sky come and pick up there dish and box after cancelling it?
If there dont and we get to keep them is it possible to use the HDD contents (films, programmes etc.. to watch them over and record and delete stuff on to it?

Property is yours aftrer contract.
If its sky+ hd box to access the hdd to record or view requires a monthly payment still.
