2pm 800 moves dish to 19.2 (500 still switched off)
3pm 800 still running on 19.2 , turned on 500 (for an everton match )

will 500 know it no longer at 28.2 and just auto know its pointing at 19.2 ?

think that explains my question better , hopefully ,
    thanks in advance
What I would do in your case is load a motorised channel settings on both boxes and configure both boxes for usals. Only your dm800 will control the position of the dish and the dm500 will tune into whichever sat the dish is pointing. At 3pm the dm800 is on 19.2 then the dm500 will be looking at 19.2. If the Everton match is on a channel on 19.2 then no problem for the dm500 if however the Everton match is on 28.2 then the dm500 is stuffed until the dm800 moves the dish to 28.2. Any clearer?

I went the expensive route and installed a Sly dish with a quad LNB for the rest of the family and saved the motorised dish for my own box. I might look into this 4 way pass switch to hook up my dm600 and the VU+ boxes.
