bare with me m8 u say point ur dish at 13 e would that be in the motor setup

no mate.. you should be able to use the box to drive the motor to 13E

still no joy m8 im not getting anything on hotbird i think it keeps scanning the astra channels instead

yeah m8 ive pointed my dish to 13e hotbird also ive inputted the sky astra frequency manually and still got no joy my box is a svhd combo triax dish motorised

so your putting in an astra(28? or 19?) frequency while pointing at hotbird(13)

can you explain what you have done from the point of turning the box on, we can try and find out where oyu have gone wrong

yeah on my channel list i select hotbird and i dont get a signal also when i input the frequency for sky italia 1204 13 e hotbird it doesnt find the channel ive even driven the motor east and west and done a blind scan still no joy

You need to put you long and lat into the box and use USALS, if your dish is aligned correctly then when you select USALS and scan 13E it should auto drive the dish to that satellite and scan away, if not use diseq and manually drive the dish to your desired satellite.

I'm not familiar with the box your using, But i just a few months back had little knowledge of all this you speak about, Now I know exactly how to sort it all when I get new box !

Just to let you know as you seem new to this, Sky calcio is " encrypted " and you will need either a official SKY ITA viewing card or a server that will issue codes to unlock this, we cant talk about that on these forum's as it is illegal, yet if you wan't PM me and ill give you a lil bit of info on it.
