    ESPN free this weekend ?

    Alot of rumours that ESPN will be free this weekend on 28.2E Is this true ?
    what will it be available on ? sky, virgin and freeview i think is a definite but will it be FTA frequency for the weekend ?

      If you subscribe to sky/virgin etc the channel will open. It wont be fta on satellite.

          Not rumour, fact ESPN's Free Live Sports Weekend | Live Sports News | ESPN UK.

          Though as manic says it won't be FTA/FTV, just free to subscribers.

          The small print from the page i linked above...

          "From 0600 on Friday 4th March to 0600 on Monday 7th March ESPN will be free to those on the Sky, Virgin, Talk Talk and UPC (RoI) platforms. There will be no discount in relation to the free weekend for existing subscribers to ESPN on these platforms. Free weekend not applicable to Freeview, Top Up TV, BT Vision, Freesat or Freesat from Sky platforms."
