PROTEK SET UP NEED FLASH ?

hello im new to this forum stuff , im trying to set up my new protek 9750 not sure were to find the right software for it or if im using the correct one but not seeting it up right any help thankyou

those boxes may come flashed and ready to go,have you the sat cable and lan connected,any channels on.

most protek boxs come with fta f/w installed so if yours has use this f/w... put file into root of usb stick then in the menu go to.. menu/system info/firmware upgrade then ok... after the reboot press the ok then blue button for the package list... check out these sats for the packages.. 42e/23.5e/19.2e/16e/13e/9e/7e/30w. make sure you set your ip up in the menu and reboot the modem/router if the channels dont clear. regards mdt

thanks for that ive put fw on memory stick but it doesnt show up on the system info menu asif the file isnt there, also what do i need to do to ip thankyou

all my network info is filled in firmware is 3.01 ive got free cannels but bye channels scarambeled

try rebooting your router/modem and also make sure you havent got a ip clash with anything else on your network. regards mdt

your protek wont connect. try using a static ip instead of dchp and give the box a high number.. eg. 192.168.1.99 make sure the auto-update check is switched on also. regards mdt
