Is it worth buying a protek 9600 IP

I lost my cs link a while ago and sold my receiver as I couldn't afford a pay server.
I have a motorised sat dish sat there doing nothing so have been looking for a cheap receiver.
I see you can get a 9600IP with the gift or you can buy a cheaper which needs an ID.
So can anyone tell me is it worth investing my few pennies in one of these boxes.

not too sure if i read the backup may be stopping on that old box and doing the hd which is selling better.

id go with a hd box if i were you as the fantastic support by the darkforce team will gradually go more and more to the hd range and as things go you have more chance of it lasting a very long time(technical issues being ok) regards mdt
