Tutorial for adding Sat.xml and services on Enigma2, IPbox9000

Instead of just having the 2 pre-defined satellites on E2, you can either make your own Satellite.xml file by going to satellites.xml generator and once done ftp the made file to /etc/tuxbox/ using your favourite ftp programme.

But here is a way already done which helps you add every sat channel available across europe ( remember you will only be able to get the free to air ones ) unless you are a paid subscriber.

first download these 2 files .

    1. Dreamset

    2. Motor E2 DM800 HD 68.5E To 43W C@jton Dreambox Settings

Now. Run Dreamset and you should get a screen like this.

Now, Click on setup at the top ( icon ). and change the settings to those below, only need to alter the IP address and username you have on your own box.

    click ok once thats done.

unrar the Motor E2 DM800 folder to your desktop.

in dreamset click the open icon at the top, and when new box appears choose lamedb, like in this picture.

click open , then click the transfer button at the top, a new box will appear , choose write then ok, this will add all the european channells, bouquettes , satellites to your IPbox 9000.

    Have fun chaps
