How long you had the box ?
can you give a little history as what went wrong. ?
i take it you know all about switching off and getting the "USB UPGRADE " text in LCD ? and PC editor.
try this to bring it back.
1.power+ok button put the reciver standby mode you will see the clock on the display
2.run the flash tool select the usb then select the file (usb_update.img)
3.press and hold power button untill u see the usb update on display
4.look in to your flash tool you see the usb connected info
if you dont see this info you must install the drivers for your pc ......
if your drives install all ready all you need to do just hit the download image on the flash tool ..i cant see why you cant flash the img from this point..
