    CubeRevo a few questions:)

    Hi All

Have flashed nlb 9207 onto cuberevo & have a few questions:

1: In the nlb plugins there are options to update fw via hdd / tmp folder is there a tut for this? or can somebody please explain how to?

2: Again in the nlb options usb upgrade fw via pen? Does the pen only have the image on it or can you have a backup of the var folder on it as well?

3: The multi-boot file is this added to the image or is it a image the box boots from? ( on the dreambox barryallen is installed into the flash image & multi-boots on start up you get options to boot from flash or images on HDD )Is it anything like that?

4: Could you explain this in a bit more detail please.

    many thanks

    1. you can ftp an image into /tmp or /media. the filename must end in .img it must be this name usb_kernel_root_db.img and can only be done in /media due to the lack of space in /tmp.

    2. it needs to be the image on the usb stick, not folders.

    3. this is the easiest way to multiboot at the moment http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...-9000-a-37129/
but there is a ghost way available using Ghost you can do it all on your PC then just pop the USB stick into your IPbox,.

in the link there is a config file, flash that onto your ipbox, its ok it wont harm anything, but will allow multi booting.
