dont forget if you want to edit files on USB stick if you are booting from flash image. files are on mnt/usb/usb0

but when booted from E2 on usb stick files will be in normal status var/keys e.t.c

I was having trouble downloading from rapid share (Always do for some reason) so I got someone else to download it for me.

I've uploaded it here for anyone else who hates the silly delay and daily download limit on rapidshare.

here is a backup of ghost E2 0.4.2 without my settings, so install as normal using Ghost and go through the setup stage, then add a satellites.xml and your incubuscamd.conf.

Internal Cardreader Driver for e2 images

INSTALLATION
------------
Copy contents of archive to box.
The CardPanel Plugin for e2 takes care of loading the driver at e2 startup.
It also starts newcs 1.66_rc1.
newcs.xml is located in /var/keys, a default config is provided, adapt it to your needs.
MAKE SURE ALL FILES ARE EXECUTABLE!
Restart e2 to load the driver and newcs.
KNOWN BUGS
----------
- Removal or insertion of a card while the driver is loaded freezes the box, so don't even try it

If you want to see your partitions under Windows you can use this nifty tool :
Ext2IFS

It provides Windows NT4.0/2000/XP/2003/Vista/2008 with full access to Linux Ext2 volumes (read access and write access). This may be useful if you have installed both Windows and Linux as a dual boot environment on your computer.

The "Ext2 Installable File System for Windows" software is freeware.

As a total beginer (thick) I would like to know what enigma2 actually does when loaded on the cube revo, I know this is real basics but my brain is being overloaded with so many threads/posts but none actually start at the begining

there different firmwares that can be put on the box which is a linux operating system the same as a pc which operates all the menus,,scanning ,channel lists features etc in the box
so you can use an ftp programme "file transfer protacol" to access change files and so on

some time ago i used a ghost image with my IPbox9000 and it worked good. There were memoryproblems with that imago so i returned to NLB.
I cannot find any new ghost images Can you help?
