My Fathers just got one of these bad boys installed and it has all the torrent movies etc as well as the full gift.

But for some reason the EPG loads up fine and allows itself to be programmed in and once you watch a program the EPG has gone.

Whats the deal. Is it one of them things the Ibox comes with?

You need to connect a usb stick or hard drive thenI will assume you have Cross epg plugin installed configure it to store data on the usb memory and not flash memory then you will get full 7 day epg.

I mean your epg will be stored on usb stick/hard drive so shouldn't disappear now.

No you dont just format the stick to Fat32 before you place it into the box

reviving this thread as I have a issue does anyone know how to change the capacitor on the ibox? what capacitor do i need and which one do I change on the board

cap or chip gone due to new image or drivers?

I assuming its the cap as it keeps freezing every half hour so I have to unplug it, is it worth flashing a image first?

think these boxes run hot so could be cap issue,which one??unless someone has posted,might be an idea to search old icloud posts might be some info,think portbhoy was messing with one years ago.
