cloud ibox 2 plus and 3 ok button /menu button stopped

Any vix images mentioned here are for the cloud ibox 2 plus and therefore not official vix but 'modded' versions as vix does not support these boxs.

Hi guys
Looks like all modern versions or reglarly updated images for these boxs have hit a glitch as of may 4th.
Menu and ok buttons freeze after 1-5 minutes. Vix(unofficial)/openpli/BH whatever

Also feeds and pluggin downloads are all down for maintenance.
My older unofficial version of vix seems fine tho

There is nothing wrong with the ViX plugin feeds for any image, ViX dont even make images for these boxes.

Yes but modded versions are used on them. Its nothing vix did wrong as they dont release for this box. But people who own them are experiencing these problems.......

Then you should take up you'r issues with the person who makes those images, as for the ViX feeds we physically deleted all the plugin feeds for every ViX image older than Zeus.

No probs. I apologise. Didnt mean to insinuate anything to do with vix. I realise its a clone box issue across all images on iboxs. Not the image.

people were told not to use images and drivers from 2014 or be left with dead boxes,if boxes were still alive told to revert to images of 2013 and not to update,if box is dead contact your supplier are the other 9 playing follow the leader?
as RD says it was all images even boxes from china died.

Mate any chance of send image so that I can re flash so that I dont brick my box. Ive try looking for older image but cannot get one.

Seems like a fix has been found.
To replace "/lib/modules/3.6.0/extra/dvb.ko"
With any pre May 2014 version.
So the dvb.ko file is what needs replacing
About to try now
YES! CONFIRMED! Took from another box running 3.0.6. and added to helios 10 box.
To clarify use ur ftp program to do this like when u added ur cam

Then ran software update and reboot and all working well still.


Now running well ( a non official vix )
