scan for ka_bul chans

if i scan for k a bul channels will i lose sat channels already stored in box, and if so can someone who's already done it succesfully, explain how its done please. i've already backed up my sat channels but not sure if i can add them again after scan on second tuner.thanks

ive done this on older images where if you scan c@ble channels after you done a sat scan it seems to wipe the sat listings clean

the best thing is to do a scan from scratch ( a full scan sat, and c@ble ) scan all the sats you think you will be using. then back up your database using PC editor .

Or better still use Enigma2 on a usb stick , it dont lose sat settings e.t.c after a c@ble scan.
