Mounting Hard disk

Can anyone tell me how to mount a hard disk in the ipbox9000hd or cuberevo hd?

I have just fitted it.

in menu/advanced settings do you see your HDD ?

if so then its ok

ok, then take out the HDD.
Put it in a PC
download Partition Manager ( use the search engine on here )
format the HDD using Partition Manager ( make sure you format in Ext2 mode ) and have 2 partitions, 1 gig for swap, and the rest for your recordings e.t.c.

Then put it back into your IPbox., If its still blacked out , then you have an incompatible HDD , ive had 1 of these myself. You will have to get a different model HDD.

If you google for compatible HDDs for an IPbox , i am sure i read a list of them somewhere.

Thanks for the info - putting in the pc is a drag, but if it's the best way. - Hope my pc a spare connector.
