ipbox flashing with usb stick problem

Having problems flashing via usb stick,I've downloaded rainmans image and put it on a usb stick and tried to flash but got er10 every time.
i changed the name to usb_upgrade.img and the box recognised it but fails to flash..it says unuseable image or something to that affect.
I went into system settings and at the moment program version is 0.0a (R11014),DB version R11014.
Its beginning to bug me now as i cant connect to the web to access plugins or cams etc.
I thought that I'd have access to this tru the coloured buttons and only have plugins pre loaded on the receiver.
What am i doing wrong??This is a totally different animal to the dream or itgates that im used to so it'll be a long learning curve.
Once i have a decent image flashed i can go onto other things like installing my cams and stuff.
Any help appreciated,

its a 9000 hd ?
use PC editor to flash it
hold in the fron on/off button whien you swith it on at the back
let go when you see USB UPGRADE in LCD

you need a USB printer cable connected between the box and PC though first.

Yeah aftermath its a 9000hd,was i right in changing the img name?
I'll try with pc editor now,I have the cable here too.

Panic over,all sorted now with new image,my last image was corrupt and thats why it wouldnt flash and the box didnt recognise the file.NLB 11577 on now and looks good so far.
