Is worth while installing Linux Ubuntu desktop or server on a PC and attaching the Cube Revo 9000 HD via USB ,does anyone recon it would make comunication between the box and PC Editor better

As far as i'm aware, pc editor only runs on windows.

If i'm wrong, i'm sure someone will correct me
