    Help. Network Upgrade. Have I made a big mistake

    AB IPbox 9000HD

    Ok.

    Instead of using a USB stick to upgrade the software I clicked the Network Update to get the latest S/W..

    The problem is it has been stuck at "Transferring Data" for over 18 hours. The box itself displays the words NET UPGRADE.

    There does not seem to be a way of stopping the transfer without simply turning off the power. I do not want to do this without posting 1st to see what is the course of action.

    The attachment shows what is displayed on the screen at present.

    HELP.

    you have no option but to switch off, and then re install image using either the PCeditor way with a USB Printer cable.
    or putting the image on a USB stick ( format it first ).

      Thanks aftermath,

      When I switched off the box at the mains it re-booted as normal.

      I guess unless it is actually Erasing or Flashing it is OK.

      Usb method next time...
