is the maxx1000 same as the protek 9600 does it get the same?

Yes its the same receiver and takes similiar firmware and connects to same server.

to any member thinking about a maxx1000, BE CAREFULL as there are some boxs that wont connect(if you know what i mean) so do your research before you buy. regards mdt

Yeah your right there mtd,forgot to mention that.Be sure to ask your seller to make sure it connects or just go for the protek for certain connection.

There are a few differences between the Protek and the Maxx.
The Protek has 2 Scart sockets, the Maxx only 1.
The Protek has a large front panel display, the Maxx has a very small display.
The Maxx 1000 is often sold as "same as Protek and Nanoxx" this is not true any dealer saying so is not telling the truth.
