I am new

I am new, I feel lost with all this stuff, I do have an ITGATE 250, I do not find anything for it, where do I start?

Also, when retrieving internet address it says that I am not connected, but I do have the communication configuration ok, and I can connect via FTP from the pc, so I do not get it.

Note: 'Backup'function newly added
1. Update : back up the image on the receiver except var folder.
2. var : back up the setting file,channels & plugins. in var folder of the receiver.
3. All(Update+var) : back up the image on the receiver including var folder.

i really need this file because I need to do a back up of the info in my box
