Switches On from Standbye

Hi

Seem to have a wierd problem I kow that the box reboots now and again on some channels and it seems to be better since flashing new firmware.

The wierd problem Im having since buying the box recently is it switches on from standbye, at first I thought maybe the wife was switching and leaving it on but she hasnt touched the remote or Ive put the remote away and box switches itself on some time later.

Anyone any ideas why this would happen.

One of the remotes is turning it on, my LG TV remote does that to the box.

I'm sure if you switch the openbox off (via remote), then go to input on your TV using the remote then select AV1, it will switch itself on. (use HDMI cable for the open box,standard scart for sly+ box).

Checked it out and youre spot on anything I chose wether its av 1, 2, 3, rgb, component etc on the lg remote input list switches the openbox on.

No other buttons on the remote do anything wonder if there is a way round this.

Hooley VU+ box came today, my hard drive never turned as as the
Delivery guy couldnt find our house.
Ok to go ahead and install vix firmware and install
hard drive when it turns up ?
