hello,
i set up my openbox, all channels scrambled, even free ones, i have current file, 3/14 using dish 500, scanned 110 and 119, have about 88 strenght and 77 quality, but all channels scrambled. any ideas?

Are they American sats?

yes they are american sats, i'm in texas

Are you subscibed to a Private Server to get the control words. If yes did you put the server info into CCcam.cfg. I run a similar system.

with the openbox s9 system i have to use a private server in order to get Pay channels? i cannot use my internet service like with other boxes. did not know that. u said u run a system like that r u in the states?

Did you put the firmware that has been posted here? That is European firmware. If you google openboxs9.us you should get better results

I'm in Mexico but get the same sats as what you do. If you have other boxes that work on internet then you shud be able to get the S9 working as well, mine works on 119 and 91. You have to put certain info into the CCcam.cfg file which is available in the box's menu. You will find more info on the subject on US sites. FYI there is no EPG or channel info on 119, but there is on 91.

PD and it will no get HD on either of those two sats.
