openbox doesn't work on any tv i have

i just received my open box s9 hd today and i hooked it up exactly the way it said and i am getting no signal on tv and a noch or nock on the box no menu, no nothing what can i do

The no ch means no channels presumably. Have you cycled through the video output settings, by pushing the V. Format button on the remote? If you're connected via HDMI and it's putting out an SD signal (which it does by default) via the scart, you won't see anything. Vice versa if you're connected via scart and it's outputting HD via HDMI.
You will see the ouput settings on the box's display as you press the vformat button; don't push the button too rapidly though as you'll go past the setting you want.

Once you've sorted that and can see the menu, you can hopefully sort the other stuff via the settings menu.

try the scart first mate, then go through the AV settings on your tv ,,

Have you put any software on to the box, does the front display say NoCH?
