How to identify clone Ali3602 HD Receiver


all consumers :

if you have an Ali3602 HD Receiver like S9,S10...there has a method to identify if it is original (quality goods) or clone.

Before identify , please backup your old software on the box by usb. Download CONM_CHDS2_CMT_110509090D.rar upgrade it by usb.
enter menu---tool---information---press "8888" key, now you will see CHIP ID , If the box CHIP ID is in the chip_id_list, congratulatation, your HD Receiver is original version! You can upgrade any new firmware to experience more new functions. Otherwise, You Box is clone version , please recover the software with the old version! This software will kill the clone box when power on over 10 times. If less than 10 times, no kill for clone verion.
the chip_id_list is the following, it will update everyday:

00EA
085B
0D0C
98A1
98F2
9CF4
9D1A
When you buy a new box , try to view the chip_id_list on this http page. If you can not find the valid "CHIP ID" on the chip_id_list, it means your box is a clone box.

This firmware didn't work on my receiver even though i have renamed the software in .abs file

write new firmware from upper link and check. this is newest firmware for S9 with lan function.

Rob, there is different firmware for users from USA.

For those of you who have a motorized setup, and wish to open the BISS channels, then you will need to install the previous Official Firmware HDS2_CMTS_20110506, as that will then allow you to open the BISS channels [with the appropriate keys]
As the latest firmware has a small bug, and will not open the BISS channels, even with the correct keys.

there is something wrong with this firmware. my CCID is 085B but i've got CLONE info after 10 restarts

is it confirmed no where you can recover your box ? 085B should be a valid CCID, why it got killed. this really puzzles me

yes it's tru i;m confused too. my CCID is 085B but my s9 got killed after 10 restarts. now i can't revive it becasue bootloader are damage. erom tool can temporaty fix my box it can boot and power on normally but after 10x restarts again CLONE info.
this firmware i designed to kill as much S9 as they can. look at my picture, under clone version info you can see CCID 085B which is valid but s9 got CLONE.

If the CCID chip is valid, but your receiver is displaying the clone message, I would guess that the problem is either a conflict, or possably even a damaged chip, either way you should simply return the receiver back to your supplier.
And he should then either replace it, or repair it free of charge for you, and as your also still covered by the statatory 12 month guarantee, there should be no problem.
