Is my openbox Bricked?

Hi guys, is my openbox s9 bricked?

I was downgrading from a newer firmware to a previous one and after I rebooted the box it now is stuck in On.

I tried using a Null modem cable but it manages to connect but it wont work.

Ive tried using the Upgrade_PVR800 HD Tool but it fails to connect just sticks on please reset target.

I know for sure I have a null modem because I use it on my other boxes.

Any ideas?

Have you tried flashing it with it first turned off then when you hit connect turn the opnebox on ?
