    Openbox or Not?

Been a long time since I was here, so please bear with me.
My trusty sl65 seems to have called it a day so I'm looking at the Openbox s10 as a replacement.
I see on Ibay that they are advertised as ''not clone'' and are MPEG4 ready (I'm in Dublin and I believe Saorview is testing on 9E). My question is can I update quays manually as before on this box? I'm not that interested yet in cs. Thanks in advance. amos

You can load softcams but there is very little open these days and they might not work for too long. Well you can Load softcams with an s9 so I presume you can do same with s10.
There is a thread here somewhere telling you what's open

The openbox is a fantastic little box however its really limited in what it can do.
If it was for the kids room or a spare room then I would say its fine, however if you like to play with boxes or want something a bit better for the living room then I would go for a different box.

Its Saorsat that is testing by sat at 9. Saorview is the Digital TV you can pick up with your aerial. You can actually get a Digital tuner that allows you to view UK Freesat and Irish DTT from your aerial all on the one box with the ability to record etc.
