EXTERNAL HARD-DRIVE

Has anybody managed to get an external hdd to work with the s10 , i have tried a usb and a mains powered drive , in various formats , all of which are not recognised by the box ,
It picks up the usb sticks/pen-drives fine , just not seeing these external drives at all , wondered if any other members have had any sucess with an external hdd , or know of any little quirks the box has in recognising them

i am using a usb caddy with a 2.5 SEAGATE SATA HDD, used to have a dreambox 800 and this was the only drive that would work.....

I use a 3.5 caddy ok on my box
