Hi

I have fixed sky satellite dish and I seem to be having a problem blind scanning the movie channels in HD.

I have also tried downloading the channel lists on the site dumbo and waynes lists and both list the HD channels but I get no signal message on the box.

A couple of the channels work like Disney Cine HD and Sky Showcase HD but premier, comdey etc don't work do. I only have the 28.2 satellite selected in my satellite list do I need do enable more during the scan.

Ok so I figured out the channels that are not working I had to change the LNB frequency to 9750... the thing is it was set to universal 9750-10xxx something. I would have thought that would cater for it.

Anyone know how I can combine this frequency with the others rather change the frequency every time I want to watch the HD movie channels.

I have my setting as (universal 9750 - 10600) and have no issues with the channels you mention, and also pick up all the 28.2 channels. In the antenna setup... When u set the LNB freq to 9750-10600 and put the transponder to a transponder that carries the channels u want/have issues with, are u getting a signal in the bars below? (not grayed out)

Its greyed out signal is only 41% strength. The only way I have been able to do it was to create a new satellite with the same as 28.2 and have that one with the transponders that are greyed out under 9750-10600 and set this one to only 9750. Its a bit convoluted but seems there is something up with my LNB.

Have u tried re adding the transponder again manually? I've had times I've downloaded channel lists off here and the channels transponder has changed so i was getting the same symptoms as you. If u have checked king of sat and already added the channels up to date transponder , then It does sound like a poss issue with the lnb or tuner.

I had same problem that above with almost all hd chanels, box doesn,t search them sometimes I watching hd chanells andafter few minutes pictures is gone?
