i got my s9 box in feb and ive never updated the firmware,what benefit would i get from updating as ive never had a problem apart from the odd glitch now and then?

Hi,
New release from S9 manufacturer is always a better version with modifications over the last version.
I have installed a recently released firmware from the factory I bought the box,it has
solved a few setbacks, mainly HD channels,sat xml, etc,
I was warned not to install any firmware that one find on the web, only the newly release one proposed by manufacturer or seller of the box.
Hope this will give you some tips about a proper firmware version suitable for your
