Ok, it's rubbish. Now you don't have to come here to the openbox section again

I came here because it is for owners which i am if you read properly .But as a proud dreambox owner it is still interesting to view the excuses openbox owners like myself are making for the rebooting problem, love it who would believe it to be told to remove channels to get it working properly, laugh my arse off.At least there will be another firmware along shortly and another and another.

I think you got a bad clone box , any time i see a novice say ,"I have s10 original " it screams out clone to me ,

1 you have a faulty box , there are many faulty dms out there also

2 , your a know it all , not willing to listen to any advice as you know it all already

        3 , your on a wind up .

4 your posting here as you want to make friends and maybe see some wood.

iv offered a fully working image, then atleast you will have some help from some one who knows about the box

its very odd that you say
It shows scrambled on unscrambled channels for a while

this cant be true , on fully working dish. are you sure it soesnt say no signal

pm me a price id take it

D-E-F-I-N-I-T-E-L-Y. NOT A CLONE.Why buy a clone when original under ?90 not worth bricking risk. Also the faulty dms only know about dm800s and they are the early clones without the new tuner the new pro version is regarded as the best clone ever made.

Do the DM 800 still suffer from overheating, as I believe I read somewhere that one should add fans, to try and keep the temprature down, but that quite a while ago.

So I'm just curious to know if that issue has been addressed, or are they still the same, if did not have that problem, then I would have kept the one I had, as it was a very capable receiver.

If you are such an expert why didnt you read up about the box before you purchased. The reboot and epg problems are well documented. If you remove the few channels causing reboot its no problem. Dosent take what 5 mins to do.

sounds like you are trying to compare the openbox to your other receivers..

it's a very decent box for those wanting something cheap to watch the football on.. If you are using it for everyday TV and trying to watch Sky UK on then you my friend are cracked in the head..

If it's so shite sell it

I think perfectly safe early dm500 affected ,no cases of dm800 with sim 2.01 ever reported.Download gemini 5.1 been using 6 months.

How can someone decide i have a clone openbox without even seeing it.It as a full 12 months manufacturers guarantee did not no clones had started doing this. There are ways to test clones from originals read about it and it passed with flying colours. So i can confirm that i own a genuine shit open box.Anyway spent far to long on this box going to watch my dreambox watch this space for sale soon one hardly used minus a few channels to avoid reboot genuine openbox.

I stated i owned 2 other dreamboxes in earlier posts. Some people you will never make a lawyer.Read all the evidence i submit your honour that "the man" is incompetent and request that is garbage remarks are withdrawn from the jury.Case dismissed due to fabricating evidence. Now go play with your inferior box.

I paid ?110 for mine, but that was in either July or August 2010, when they first hit the UK market, and at the time I believed it to be a bargain, which it has been, so even at the price I paid for it, I still have no regrets.
