im after a openbox s10

they on for ?65 delivered on ebay. i think i may buy one, but im still contemplating whether to spend extra ?100 on dreambox, would be worth it.

I have had a openbox to try, and a dreambox 800hd the last week.the main diffrences as the dreambox has add ons and a better epg, better sync on the sound, but harder to get round im a newbie so found the openbox a lot more easy to get about, and to me it has a slghtly better picture on hd ,well it seems that way on my samsung, its up to you if its just for bog standard watching tv the open box is fine only let down sync and epg,the sound was supposed to be to be sorted with a new update but i havnt tried it yet. If its a learning curve to use a linux box and all the add ons get the dreambox.

should be simple enough to setup dm800. Good thing we have digital kaos!!!

I have bought more than 10 boxes from 6 different sellers on ebay.
And all I can tell you is that there is no such thing as ORIGINAL.
Each and every of them has been produced by different manufacturer (different sn) all come with different firmware and slightly different remotes (exit, epg and other keys in different places)

THEY all work fine, no issues, no clone message, can change firmware channel list and all.

had minor issues with couple but nothing you cant sort with serial cable

hope this helps anyone looking for one

i have got an s10 original and it very easy to use all done through the usb port it is easier to setup than the dm500s and picture quality is excellent in hd you can get original boxes here i just checked this morning Openbox S10 Satellite Receiver | eBay

Got the same box a few days ago. Up and running in no time, is my first box of this kind and was easy as to set up.
