scambled free channels

Ive had my openbox s9 for a while now and i've just noticed that I cant seem to get all the free channels,

channel 5 and the other 5 channels, some of the HD channels bbc and itv, i thought all freeview channels are free.

channel 5 and the other 5 channels, some of the HD channels bbc and itv, i thought all freeview channels are free.

channel 5 is not free mate, part of a subscription package. but i would havve though bbc was free. stick a sky freesat card in, you must have one lying around if you subscribed to sky previously.

sometimes when I do a scan to update channels, some of the channels are scambled, bbc hd, itv 1+1, itv 3+1, and a couple bbc channels, sometimes have a $ in front of them, you should not have to buy a freesat card for something that is free,,
if you scan you will have two lots of channels not all but some the free channels,

why cant sat boxs be like freeview!, after all you dont have to pay for any add ons when you a buy freeview box,, unless you want TUTV

anyway just thought that if freesat is free why do we stilll need to buy a freesat card,,,
