NEW OPENBOX S9/S10 FIRMWARE(21/7/11)

here is the latest firmware dated 21/7/11 for both s9&s10

Already tried this version. I didn't use it.

This has the Skybox logo and wouldn't load on my original S9.

When i loaded this onto my S10 it has the S9 Gui/Interface.

Last update for the S10 is from 14/7. Last REAL S9 update is from about end June.

Its the same firmware that was posted up on the Yojia website and they renamed the description of the file to show for the S10 where as earlier today it showed S9/S10.

As far as i'm aware the box is made/distributed by STBHD Technology Ltd. and their last update is from June.

I know others that have used it on their S9 and it flashed ok, but for me it wouldn't (i only tried over the LAN/UDP software), but I've had my box since early release.

As I also stated its for a Skybox which for all intent and purpose is a clone, so not strictly for the Openbox, although because everyone is in everyone elses pocket in China and parts/clones remakes are rife your just never quite sure, but i would imagine, they wouldn't brand the same box two or three times.

So, from a personal perspective until someone shows any different, it didn't come from the REAL Openbox manufacturer and the last update from June is the only valid one.

But that's not to say if it fixes some issues it can't be used if people so wish, although mine is working just peachy (with no reboots)

For my Openbox, picture freeze when request key from CAM.
Change to other channel the return is OK.
But when request key picture will freeze again.

The Yojiatech say to me.
"Your receiver not from us,

It is clone, so can not solve the problem with our software"

this firmware works fine but i can't record in channel no fta encryptation biss and other encryptation i don`t have option PS only TS. any solution ?

Hi! I've just bought the S9 OPenbox HD from China one month ago. I just want to know how to differentiate if my set is original or Openbox clone. And is it possible to watch cable tv channel such as ASTRO ?
