I think the latest firmware you can have on the s9 hd CLONE boxes is the one before 7/4/11. Not sure what the firmware date is, but the instructions to check if you have a clone refer to 7/4/11 as the one that does the checks and has the bomb for clones.

So get the one BEFORE 7/4/11 if you do have a clone.

Then either wait for some Chinese fella to create a bomb safe firmware for the clones - highly unlikely or get a new box and sell this one to somepne who isn't going to be updating firmwares and is just happy as it is.

If you have a clone and load a bombed firmware does it just remove the HD option, or does it ~~~~ the box totally ??
