How to guide: Upgrade, flash, change the firmware image on the OpenBox S9 via USB

1) You will need a USB stick that?s been formated to FAT32

2) Load your chosen .abs firmware onto the USB stick and the place it in the USB port at the rear of the receiver.

3) Go into the HDTV HD 800S2 / Openbox S9 menu and update the firmware via USB via the the following route:

Menu > Tools > Upgrade by USB > Upgrade Mode- Image File (*abs) > Select File > Start
The firmware will load onto the HDTV HD 800S2 / Openbox S9 and once finish the receiver will reboot

*** DO NOT TURN BOX OFF WHILE FIRMWARE IS UPGRADING ***
