    Channel Editor s10

    All

Im at the end of my tether trying to figure out how to edit channels on the s10.

I have both the demo version of Sat_Edit 100 Hd and the PVR800 /S9- Editor_HD working to a point only. Neither are loading my channel lists.

For the PVR 800, I have changed the .dbs to .abs in line with instructions and loaded the file.

However there is no sign of the cahnnels.

I have loaded other specimen .dbs which others have downloaded on the site with similar results.

The same happens when I use the Sat_Edit file.

Can anyone help? Hooley if you're around, yoou might have an answer.

    Yours in desparation!!!!!

Have you scanned for channels first?

For the pvr800 to work you have to do a dump file, that is channel list and firmware combined. Also you have to click on the satellite in the left box for it to appear in the right hand side.
It's a shite editor anyways, I just use a channel list that someone else has uploaded and then move a few around with the menu on the box.

            Many thanks Hooley

You're a font of wisdom with practicality thrown in as usual.

I'll take the same course as you suggest but I'm wondering whether there are any channel editors that you would recommend as I tend to go for more obscure channel sets.

PS Did you hear anything about a dual tuner s10 on the way with interchangeable DVB T2 tuner?

The only two that seem to work are the two that you mentioned but they are with their problems as you have found out. What sats are you using mainly?
I have heard a bit about this s10, it's meant to be wi fi also

                Hooley

                Im using quite a few sats including Eurobird 28.2, Astra 19, 23, Hellassat 39 Sirius 5, Atlantic Bird 5W NSS 22.5 W & Hispasat 30 W.

As regards the specs on s10 I also heard that has n band wifi and full iptv Should be interesting!!!
