    HELP! SetEdit Channel List Problem

I have just spent several hours using SetEdit organising a 3 satellite TP_PROG that I dumped to USB from my S9 .. Done all the work in SetEdit, but now trying to load it back into the S9 via USB it fails, saying "file mismatch" .. So I tried restoring factory defaults, then loading it up again, but still file mismatch.. I then upgraded firmware to latest and tried uploading my channel list, still file mismatch...

I dont think SetEdit saves it in the right format for the S9, because if I try and open the saved TP_PROG with PVR800 editor it says wrong bin format...

Anybody got any ideas whats going on? I thought people are using SetEdit on these without problem... Help..

Try this channel file for the latest s9 firmware. Has 32 favorites but only used a few of them.

SetEdit saves an image file, not the TP_PROG file. If you backup your current TP_PROG file and your CCcam.cfg to usb. Then flash the box with your new firmware from SetEdit, if the list is ok then just flash your cfg file back. If not flash both the TP_PROG and cfg back.

If you want to open the file you have from SetEdit in PVR800 flash the image to the Openbox, then backup the TP_PROG to USB. Then open in PVR800, it will read fine then.

      Hope this helps.

I only loaded the TP_PROG into setedit, not a full system dump... Can I still upload the saved file from setedit to the S9 as a system upgrade then, even though its not a full system dump? I still like to use what Ive already edited..

Thanks for help (and sorry for PM'ing same question, )

Does it save as an image file? Then you could try flashing it?
          Just a suggestion...

Im a bit wary of making it take a system upgrade from an abs (firmware bin) file that only contains the channel data, it might flash the other parts of the firmware with zero data, too scary for my liking.. Nah, I'll redo it all, now that I realise I should have been editing a full system dump in SetEdit, not just the tp_prog... Thanks for help..
