    Openbox S10

Just got one of these today (from HK) and I haven't a scooby.
I'm not asking for help I'm gonna start reading and hopefully figure the bugger out!
I've checked and it doesn't seem to be a clone (when done the 8888 chip id check I get 00D0 which as far as I can see is legit).

So gulp, here I go in at the deep end.....

    Wish me luck

Good luck mate, you'll get to grips with it in no time, its a good box & relatively intuitive to use... Have you got it for just one satellite or are you doing multisats? If its just for UK channels then you're well catered for by the good chaps who post up their nicely sorted channels lists...

You shouldn't have any hassle setting it up but if you do all you need to do is ask and you can get all the help you need.

            Thanks all.
OK I've tuned it in (I didn't even know what satellite I was looking for at first, ahem) Loaded a channel guide and now I have lots of FTA channels. Lots of Scrambled too (will be wanting to sort that soon).
OK most channels though have the audio out of sync with the video, is there a method to adjust this? I can't find a menu for it.
(it's all coming out on HDMI btw)
            Cheers

Most channels out of audio sync? Thats not normal.. I think some people used to complain of that back in the early days. Have you yet upgraded to a recent firmware release or is it still old original on it? Failing that, theres no dolby digital delay settings on the box itself, but maybe your TV has delay settings in its HDMI audio setup?
