Press the "Audio" button on the remote and select a more appropriate audio stream..

Ive tried that all I have is pdr (641) and eng (661) [dolby d] both have the descriptive audio, the others are mono and left and right speaker only

look in the ALL CHANNEL LIST and change it for one that doesn't have audio description.

I've had an F3 for a few days. Some HD recordings do get the audio description, and I can't see how to stop that. However on playback I have managed to turn it OFF (by trial and error - not really a solution), by pressing AUDIO during playback, then selecting pdr(2307), then going back to eng (2306). I am new to all this, but it seems to work, and I hope it helps someone.
Has anyone else with an F3 noticed that the box resets itself when you press the SUBTITLE button on the remote??? What's that all about?

A firmware change fixed this on my S12.
