How annoying are these fkin boxes

Got an s10 yesterday, cant get the fkin thing running right, finds sats no problem, finds 28.2e, then find 19e, the box decides just to overwrite 28.2e with the settings for 19e, cant find 13e but insists that 16e is 13e.

Bizzarly my DM500 couldnt lock on 16e but found 13e no bother.

Cant find an option to delete the sat settings so have to reflash evertime i want to start again.


And the CCcam wont log into my server.

AAArrghhh...


Bonus is that its not a clone.


Rant over, i know its down to my setting it up and obviously missing something or not saving the settings correctly, but its a pain in the ass.

I don't have a multi sat setup but are you scanning each sat one at a time or doing a multisat scan. Just a suggestion...

Sometimes after adding channel lists, changing firmware or restoring factory defaults I thought either I or my box was going mad, but then realised each time I'd forgotten to re-enter in my Lognitude & Lattitude settings...

I'm doing individual scans, it's as if Im over writing the previous position with what I've just scanned.

Getting there, but got the cccamm going and got sly running.

If I can get 19 going later without losing 28.2 I'll be chuffed. Haha

is your system motorised or multi lnb ?

if multi-lnb, then delete all sats and only add the ones you require and make sure the ports are setup for each in the diseqc settings

Was your dish motor setup for usals? have you entered your correct lognitude & latitude in on the box? Have you set your box to use Usals?

This dish isnt spot on so usal and multiscans seem a bit of a wast of time i reckon, needs fine tuned to get the best SNR's.

Ive got 28.2 and 19.2 stored, locked and working the now, its down to the position setting before and after scans.

Ah right, if I was you I'd get my dish straight and motor sorted so it can follow the arc accurately using usals, box setup would be a doddle then, and lot less ball ache in the long term..

Got 13, 19.2 and 28.2 running just now, thatll do till i get a chance to get the ac spot on.

The weathers brutal out there just now.
