openbox S9 stuck on ON

the box must be off when you hit next on the loader,then you turn it on at a casual rate.
loader 2.0.0c is the only version that works,no need to try the other revs.I think your receiver was the equivalent of the s9.The s10 has no scart.

btw it won't work with a usb to serial adapter.
It has to be a pc with real serial port.

I am using a real serial port. I have used loader 2.0.0.c as recommended. Is there any particular flashburn.ini that needs to be used? Is there any change in memory allocation that might help it work in case there are problems with wherever it appears to be writing. If I switch on the box AFTER pressing connect, the box will NOT sync. It ONLY syncs if I then power 'off' and then obviously have to power on again in order for box to attempt connection/update - but this is not working either.

Red light can be power supply problems missing 5V, Replaced capacitor E6 10V 1000uF

I know this thread a bit old but I have same issue with SkyBox F3, loader says sync with STB done! then after 20 seconds I get message STB in error status. Turbo
