    signal question

    hello all,
While watching some channels on my openbox i noticed some glitching then 'no signal'. It was raining outside so i figured this affected my signal quality. Anything i can do to help signal quality because i fear it will be worse when it snows or have more rain?
    Signal intensity: 90%
Signal quality: between 70 - 75% but drops to 4-5% when there is heavy rain. Cheers

I am in West Yorkshire and got a standard quad lnb sky mini dish. It was installed by a pro. Anyone else experience problems when it rains? It is perfectly fine when its not raining. Cheers

hi baz, have a look at my latest post in my thread here - sounds like a similar problem? http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...ml#post1251766

I'm sure it's not related, but I'm in West Yorkshire too...?

Does my dish need realigning? How do you know if the alignment is off? Signal intensity is still at 89-90 percent and quality at 70-76 percent on almost all channels. I might return the box and get a blade bm700s HD.

mine started playing up with the wind and all the rain over the last week, just a little drop of rain and it was unwatchable.. turned out water was getting into the joint were the cable connects to the lnb, resealed it and stuck plenty of vasalene on it and its spot on now. just check your connections before doing owt drastic. hope this helps.
If it isn't broke, don't try fixin it..!!!
