I have had a new S10 (genuine) for a few days, and started off by loading the latest 14/09 firmware.
I found that when I connected an external portable HDD it was always on, even when the S10 was put into standby. I posted here about the problem.
I have now gone back to the original (20/05) firmware, and the problem has gone away. The HDD turns off as it should in standby.
All firmware that I have tried which is newer than this May version causes the problem to return.
Who needs to be notified to sort this problem?
