Best firmware for Openbox S9? latest firmware?

Hello everyone, I'm new and I have a openbox S9.
I wanted to ask what is the best firmware for openbox s9?
less problems and what works best.
I have the firmware on 5/5/11. I wanted to update it if there was something better.
I can give some advice? I have my own channel list.
How does the firmware on the 14/9/11? is better than the 17/7/11?
I write from Italy sorry for my English.

Before you start downloading new f/w and stuff i would recommend you check you box is original and not a clone, cause if it is a clone you could brick it. You can find how to check it if you read the threads on here.
Also there isnt really much difference in the firmware updates, so i wouldnt bother changing it unless you have problems.

Not a mistake, it was developed to be used on both boxes and works very nicely too

I tried the firmware but I get problems with cccam.
I leave the menu and it works.
Changing the channel CCcam does not work anymore. I have to reboot or return to the menu and exit.
How can I do? I have to install something in particular?
I have only the file CCcam.cfg.

have you ticked the boxs at the end of the line and then re-booted?? regards mdt

is there a fix for the issue of auto subscription updates when you use the CA reader slot it fails to update? when you use the CI slot it is ok?:argh
