It's the file I tool off my USB stick from the weekend. Can't test at the minute as I've lent my openbox out.

Can't understand why your box is stuck on "on" mate as I've just opened the file with no trouble in channel editor.

Didn't mean for that to happen.

It is, the file must be too big hence it may have over written on the bootloader, trying to see if box is dead or recoverable.. Just hope i get i back up before the weekend.

Did you use the new file or the old one mate, what size is it? If you flashed it as an image file that's what's happened. If you have a null modem cable you should have no problem reflashing. 5 min fix

Flashed the 2nd file you posted at 10.37pm, that's just it don't have a null modem cable at hand, the wife and baby going to be pissed in the morning, no jermy kyle or playhouse disney'.. also do you know the procedure as to how to recover? reading a few post but maybe outdated??

I can't remember off the top of my head. Whatever the earlier post you've read is I'm sure that's the way I use mate. Sorry for messing up your box.
