finding a specific channel on openbox s10

    hi,

i'm wondering if anyone can help, i have a 1m motorized dish and an openbox s10 with a decent subscription. what my problem is when i scan the satellites looking for a certain channel more often then not the channel is never there. now because the openbox only stores 5000 channels or so i'd like to be able to find out how i can search for the one specific channel im after if you get my drift?
example i'd like to add al jazeera sport 5 and i've found out what satellite its on and frequency etc - 26E badr6 freq- 12.341H symbol 27500-3/4 encryption- viaccess 4.0.
can someone explain how id go about this?

also a seperate problem is my box keeps restarting every couple of minutes particularly on SSNews but not limited to, any idea on this too?

    many thanks

You could be missing channels when scanning if you havnt set the correct LNB setting for a paticular satellite, usually its best to set it to Universal covering the broadest range... You could also be missing certain channels if your dish isnt aligned correctly..

As for the rebooting, early firmware releases used to suffer this, if you have an original box (not a clone) then upgrade to the latest firmware...
