openbox chip id 1546

hi i was looking to purchase some box's and they say the chip id is 1546, is this a clone?

Usually the factory installed firmware on the clones give an original chip ID... So you cant really identify if its a clone untill after its been upgraded with more recent firmware... Ask them about the power leads with the boxes, if they're seperate figure8 power leads then they could well be clones. If the power leads are hard wired (not detachable) then they may well be original boxes..
