How to get those Missing Channels..

    Hi All,
So I got my openbox the other week. I had been tearing my hair out all week as I was missing channels. Namely Sony TV Asia. I had a look at the TP list and found that anything on "11973 V 27500 2/3" had a weak signal. The solution? Unplugged the slybox in the other room. Signal suddenly went to 83%.

Hope this helps a few peeps.

Downside is that I can't plug the other box in now. Anyone any ideas? I'm tempted to get another Openbox in the other room What dya think guys?

    Kind Regards
    Mo

does your sat have multi tap lnb or is the cable split ?? i have found the signal weaker on the open box in the past but i wouldn't go by what the box says you might need a new or bigger dish ,, but plugging out the sly box shouldn't matter if it does you have a problem post back with more info good luck

Its a 4 x LNB not split....Its strange aint it that when I disconnect the sly box all is okay with the Openbox. I'm thinking of trying an 'In line Sat Amplifier'.

hi matey...in line amp is the only way if you have multiple feeds from your LNB.
