Picture Problems

I've only had the box for a few days. its a Openbox 500HD and the picture keeps having minor skips every so often. I know it's not a major issue but still it is quite annoying. Recently the picture has been freezing for 15-20 seconds, is this common with these boxes and why is this happening? Could it be due to my internet connection?

How is the Dreambox with regards to these little constant skips and picture irritants? Im thinking of calling the seller and asking for a refund or a swap with a Dreambox if he has one. I paid ?150 for the box including set up and everything else needed.

I have seen the Dreambox 800HD going for around ?200 online incase the seller doesn't have any, how are they like compared to these?

Sorry whats a dm? Dreambox?

How do i check the signal rate? the signal intensity is 82%-83% and the signal quality is 74%-75%.

Aargh ffs it just froze again for another 20 seconds! thats the 3rd time it's done that in the last hour! its really starting to annoy me now, the picture skipping now and then for a second annoyed me but i could put up with that, the picture freezing for 20 secs a time is something i dont think i can put up with.

If your dish is out of alignment it makes it glitch.

Easiest way to tell; if you watch free view and it glitches then the problem lies at your end.. i.e. dish set up incorect, problem with the f connections, wireing problems,
If it only does it on the p$y channels then the problem is not on your side but elsewhere..
