S11 HD picture quality

Hi guys,

Just setting up a Skybox S11 I bought and there is a really bad HD picture, with dots every inch or so. Tried different HDMI cables and inputs. All the HD channels are like that, FTA and scrambled.

Have updated the firmware, and it is still the same. Any ideas?!

Are you sure you have it set to 1080p mate. If you still have it at 480i it'll look crap.

Yeah, had it at all settings from 480 to 1080 and it's the same.

Is it also the same out the scart socket, or only from HDMI?

Same via the scart.

That really dont look good does it... I assume your TV is fine with other connected devices? ..

If you've upgraded firmware and that failed to rectify it then there appears to be some some major defect with your box, can you return it to your seller?

Yeah, I'm getting a replacement on Tuesday.

Just unplugged everything except the S11, telly and router, which is behind my telly. Same problem.

Got a replacement box from the seller and it works fine now.
