need help with openbox 10

hi all my box crashed last nite, thougt it was an original box and not a clone the chip was 1015, so i manage to bring it back to life and now it wont scan for channels now the chip says ffff and all the info on the page is all

mac 00-00-00-00-00-00-00
machine 00-00-00-00-00-00
nc 00-00-00-00-00-00-00-

is there any way i can get this back to normal
got my head done in

every time i try and scan it it comes back with no channels found my heads done in with this one :-(

I think you can bring them back to life with a serial cable. There should be a tut on here somewhere.
